Comic Book
The Mermaids comic was created over summer 2011 as a presentation package for the MerCon convention in Las Vegas. The comic describes, with no text, the history of the Mermaids culture, the ecological disaster that led to its demise, and the emergence of a new generation of Mermaids (players) from the nest left behind by the original mermaids. The narrative is told from the point of view of the official scribe as he carves the story in stone tablets using the Mermaids’ unique petroglyph language.
